Parents Day Out (PDO) Program Information
Parents Day Out (PDO) is an opportunity for children ages two to five to engage in social interaction with other children their age. The goal is to prepare them for a life of learning while giving parents the opportunity to more easily attend to everyday tasks. This program is offered every day of the week. It is the expectation that once registered for a day or days that the commitment is maintained throughout the school year.
Each day’s program is three hours long from 9 am to noon. There is open play, age appropriate activities and crafts plus a time for snack. Diaper changing and toilet training are part of the day.
The program is licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services.
Parents interested in PDO may come and tour the facilities by calling Jacqui Buckler at (708) 639-4840 for an appointment.
