National Outreach

Appalachia Service Project  -  Sr High 180 Service Trip - Each year the high school youth group of our congregation travels to the Central Appalachian Region for a week to serve with the Appalachia Service Project, a Christian home repair ministry.

CROP Hunger Walk  -  CROP Hunger Walk promotes hunger education and fundraising events sponsored by Church World Service. See http://cwscrop.org/greatrivers/ for more information.

 

UMCOR  -  The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is the not-for-profit global humanitarian aid organization of the United Methodist Church.

 

United Methodist Volunteers in Mission  -  Adults from our church have joined other churches in the area to participate in relief efforts in New Orleans and Joplin, Mississippi.
