Jr High 180
One component of 180° is weekly meetings. The Youth Ministry Team is responsible for planning and leading these weekly meetings.
All youth, from all different backgrounds, are welcome to attend our weekly One Eighty gatherings. During One Eighty gatherings we usually hang-out, worship, ask and attempt to answer tough questions, have fun, eat, play games, and do devotions. We meet in the Youth Room in the basement of the Church.
Junior High 180° is open to any 7th or 8th grade student, and meets regularly on Wednesday evenings, with occasional seasonal events/outings. In the world of many Junior High students, most things are changing all of the time. Through 180°, we’ll learn about a dependable God, and how we can form a connection with that God. Junior High 180° is also designed to work in conjunction with the Confirmation Program.
On Wednesdays, youth are invited to eat the community Thank God Its Wednesday -TGIW - Meal, which costs $3. Contemporary-style worship takes place from 6-6:30. At 6:30, 8th graders have confirmation and 7th graders gather in the Jr High Room for small group/relax/check-in time. At 7:15, 7th & 8th graders join together for games and activities until 8:00 pm.
Junior High 180°(7th and 8th grade) meets Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 pm.
During the summer, Junior High 180 meets with Senior High 180 on Wednesday evenings in an informal setting, typically outside at a park. Major activities are planned on a monthly basis, including the Junior High Service Lock-in in June.
